FAQ

Q: What is included in your total pricing package?
A: CS&CM’s pricing package includes: service fee, which is subjected to variation on the duration and cost magnitude of the project at hand.

Q: Do you provide any references?
A: Yes, we understand that this is a normal business practice in Western countries. We are willing to provide references if we see a high potential business opportunity. However, we will not provide detailed references until the final stages and are not in predatory range of our competitors. This is to protect against unwanted competitors gaining our knowledge from the early stages, as we must take every possible precautionary steps.

Q: How do you control quality?
A: CS&CM controls quality throughout the entire manufacturing process, from the early stages of production to the packaging stage. CS&CM send out Project Managers to factories frequently to help monitor every process along the way. Our professional QC team performs routine checks on random samples against strict requirement guidelines. We provide routine status reports to customers, ensuring clarity and avoiding last minute mistakes. With a knowledgeable engineering team, we are able to identify possible problems at an early stage. This will give us an edge, where we can report and solve possible issues before they occur.

Q: What is the lead time?
A: Lead time varies greatly, mainly depending on the type of product and the production process. In most cases, production takes around 30 days, plus approximately 2 weeks of ocean shipping.

Q: What would happen if your supplier discontinues or has no additional resources during the production process?
A: If this indeed takes place, we will gather all unfinished products and resume production in another facility. The possibility of this event occurring is very unlikely in the Shanghai region, but in the event that it may occur, all production components will be restored. Meanwhile, we will try our best to keep the original lead time and cost. Our utmost priority is to take responsibility to recover losses, if any, for the situation. That is why factory audits are performed before production.

Q: Can I visit your office and your suppliers?
A: Absolutely, we welcome your visits. However, we may require you to sign a non-circumvention agreement (NCA) prior to the factory visits.

Q: What are the terms in case of problems with quality or discretionary products?
A: We will take full responsibility and react immediately to find and solve the problem. A discussion will be held with the customer to come up with the best solution; whether that is to redo, refund, or return the products. We take quality issues seriously because we understand this is not only a monetary lost, but also a big loss on our reputation and yours. Business will go no where without reputation. We understand our customers do not want to deal with any quality issues in the finish products, and we are determined to do absolutely everything to prevent such occurrence.
